rethinking re

I have been playing with how we talk about re.  Jim is always saying to me, “I know the value of what you do for companies, I just can’t talk about it.”  That’s a problem-for me, for him and for re.

What do we do?  This is what I think.

If you want to sell more of your existing product or you want to launch a new product, we want to be on the job.  That’s what we do.  We identify the unique market position of your business, the most efficient methods to retain and attract customers and the exact words to get the sales conversation going.  And if you want us to build the business plan to go with it, we’ve got that covered too.

Call it marketing, call it branding, call it research or strategy, call it whatever you like.  The truth is that it is many things all at once-it’s creative business thinking.  And it is all focused on one goal-to bring value to YOUR customers to grow your business.  Really, that’s it.  It’s like hitting the fast forward button to build your business.

We’re not the average bear, so, if you want regular, we’re not going to be a good fit.  We like to color outside of the lines.  I can guarantee that we deliver solid data-every time and creative strategies suited to your business.

One of the best endorsements we’ve ever had came from someone with whom I have worked for over 20 years.  “We can’t do anything smart without this stuff from re.  It’s the secret sauce.”

Maybe that’s how we should be talking about re-we figure out the secret sauce.
